Photography has been a lifelong passion for me and I’ve been a working photographer for the last seven years. Prior to that, I made my living as a commercial Interior Designer, 12 of those years working for one of the largest Architectural firms in the UK. That gave me an in depth understanding of buildings, how people use them and what helps make an inspirational space.

During my professional career, I have worked for a wide cross-section of clients, from large corporates to small start-up businesses. Photography gives me the opportunity to meet new people, visit new places and interpret those through the medium.

More recently I have branched out into video, drawing on both my photographic skills and those gained in my earlier days in the events industry.

I still practice design (as Story Design) and I firmly believe the two skills are highly complimentary. My photography is driven by light, space, scale and also activity - significant factors in the design of architecture and interiors.
