University of the West of England Student’s Union

Architect & Client- Stride Treglown

Having created a masterplan for the University of the West of England’s Frenchay campus, Stride Treglown designed these two buildings to be closely integrated with the surrounding hard landscaping and future developments in the area. Replacing the original 1960’s spaces which had become inadequate, the buildings provide both recreational and office space for the Union.

The photographs are intended to draw upon the connections with the hard landscaping, as well as demonstrate the building’s generous double height internal spaces, documenting the use of the building during a normal term-time day.
